Staying in Osaka for a few days? Don't miss out on mouthwatering treats like takoyaki, karaage, and the best burger in town. Osaka is known for it's cheap and authentic Japanese street food, and ROR Comedy will help you take advantage of the tastiest food that Osaka's bustling streets have to offer. While you're here, why not visit us for a nightlife adventure, too.
TAKO TAKO KING, AMEMURA
This place really is takoyaki royalty. Just round the corner from the club, it's situated right in Osaka's party district. They have all the classic flavours of takoyaki (sauce, ponzu, mayonnise, salt) and great okonomiyaki too. Expect to share a joke in broken Japanese with the friendly staff while you wait. Just remember to let the takoyaki cool down before you take your first bite...

KUSHIKATSU DARUMA, DOTONBORI
Daruma is the most famous kushikatsu restaurant in Osaka, and with good reason. You name it, they'll deep-fry it. Our personal favourites are shrimp, lotus root, quail's eggs and cheese. Mmmmm, cheese. Sorry, got a bit distracted there. They have a strict no double-dipping policy, so make sure you get enough kushikatsu sauce on your first dip. You'll also have an appreciation of how delicious beer actually is when you taste it alongside kushikatsu. This is truly the ultimate pairing.

OLIVEIRA'S BURGERS, SHINSAIBASHI
Eat this before you die - possibly several minutes later. Brazilian Oliveira-san cooks some of the best, richest, most decadent burgers we have ever eaten. If you're looking for something to fortify your stomach for the inevitable hangover the next day, this will do the trick in the most delicious way. The perfect late-night meal, we recommend the flagship "Oliveira's Burger" for a bit of everything. It's huge! Your stomach will squeal with pleasure, your arteries will squeal with terror.

BANCHO CHICKEN, AMEMURA
This chicken stand has won more awards than Titanic. One man heroically cooks for the masses, and there's a great selection. Alongside classics like buffalo wings and karaage (fried chicken) are more unusual choices, such as chicken wrapped in plum leaves, chicken stuffed with cheese and chicken with fish eggs (seriously, it's delicious!) The fries are also incredible, and we're convinced they must contain crack, given how moreish they are. Less than a minute from the club, you can usually find group of ROR comedians outside Bancho every Friday and Saturday night enjoying the post-show glow.
